2.1 Data You Provide: Full name and contact details (email, phone number); business documents (trade licence, Emirates ID, MoA) — Taskers only; bank account details for payouts — Taskers only; payment card information (processed and stored by Stripe, not us); task descriptions, offers, and messages on the platform; profile photos and business descriptions. 2.2 Data We Collect Automatically: IP address and device information; browser type and operating system; pages visited and time spent on the platform; location data (emirate-level, for task matching); WhatsApp message metadata (via Twilio). 2.3 Data from Third Parties: Payment data from Stripe (transaction status, not card numbers); communication data from Twilio (WhatsApp delivery status).
3. How We Use Your Data
Account Management — creating and maintaining your platform account; Task Matching — connecting Clients with relevant Taskers based on location and category; Payment Processing — collecting client payments and processing Tasker payouts; Notifications — sending WhatsApp and email updates about tasks and offers; Verification — verifying Tasker business credentials and documents; Platform Safety — detecting fraud, abuse, and policy violations; Legal Compliance — meeting UAE regulatory and AML obligations; Platform Improvement — analysing usage to improve features and experience.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Contract performance — processing necessary to deliver our services to you. Legal obligation — compliance with UAE law including AML regulations. Legitimate interest — fraud prevention, platform security, and improvement. Consent — marketing communications (you may withdraw consent at any time).
5. Data Sharing
We share your data with the following third parties: Stripe (payment processing and Tasker payouts); Twilio (WhatsApp and SMS notifications); Supabase (secure cloud database hosting); Vercel (platform hosting and delivery); Google Maps (location services for task posting). We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not share your data with advertisers.
6. Data Retention
Active account data: retained for the duration of your account plus 2 years. Transaction records: retained for 7 years (UAE commercial law requirement). KYC documents (Taskers): retained for 5 years after account closure (UAE AML law). Communication logs: retained for 12 months.
7. Your Rights
Under UAE PDPL, you have the following rights: right to access your personal data; right to correct inaccurate data; right to request deletion (subject to legal retention requirements); right to withdraw consent for marketing at any time; right to data portability. 8. Data Security
Encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Role-based access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel. Regular security reviews and penetration testing. Stripe PCI-DSS compliance for all payment data.

10. WhatsApp Communications
By registering on Linkthem FZE LLC, you consent to receive WhatsApp messages via Twilio for OTP verification, task notifications, offer updates, and payment confirmations. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by contacting support@linkthem.com.
11. Children's Privacy
Linkthem FZE LLC is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
